There are two key mind power techniques – affirmations and creative visualization.
Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself while in a meditative or alpha level of mind. Affirmations are always done in the present tense, as if the action has already taken place. This is because your subconscious mind does not think in terms of past, present, or future. The key, here, is to replace “I want” with “I am”. It is important that you believe that the goal you want to achieve is within your reach. It won't do any good to repeat an affirmation, and yet to secretly think that you cannot accomplish it. Release your mind from all desire and intention. Use repetition to reinforce the effects of the affirmation, and be positive. Positive affirmations are extremely useful in causing fundamental change, not only in behavior and beliefs, but also in the external conditions of life.
The technique of creative visualization involves visualizing the end result of your goal or desire while you are in the alpha level of mind. Create a mental screen in front of your eyes, making it as large as you can. The screen should be forward, at least six feet in front of you, and raised at an angle of around twenty degrees. When you visualize, you are projecting images onto this screen.
Again, affirmations and creative visualization are the two keys to learn mind control techniques.
