When people look for a diet plan, they often go to the internet. Dr. Dean Ornish has a diet plan for not only weight loss, but preventing heart disease in high risk people. I have worked with people who make the choice to use the Ornish diet for their weight loss. Diet is an individual choice. Any diet can be worked with during your hypnosis.

 

In the Ornish diet one limits the amount of fat in the diet. The diet is vegan for the most part. There is skim milk and egg whites allowed though. People, even if they want to do this diet, find it hard to manage. With the help of hypnosis, clients can comply more easily. It helps you to remember, to reduce stress, and to remember your exercise and meditation for the day.

 

When people follow all of these life style changes, they begin to feel better. However, in the beginning, discouragement is high. For this reason, hypnosis images of success and thoughts of success to build success-promoting beliefs are very important. It also helps to give people some relaxation training which reinforces meditation. The exercises become easier as they are repeated and the hypnosis cd reinforces the progress.

 

Once you have developed a success belief and you begin to see results, it becomes easier to lose the weight. Keep on working with your hypnotist. This will make your success more rapid. Hypnosis raises the endorphin levels in your body. This makes your mood brighter and you learn rational coping statements to help you through the dieting discomforts. Also, endorphins give you a feeling of pleasure. This feeling of pleasure helps you to enjoy life more. When your metabolism is speeded up with hypnosis, your weight loss is accelerated. This gives you your positive rewards faster. When other people notice your health and weight loss, they compliment you. These compliments are reinforcing.

 

No matter which diet program you choose or whether or not you choose hypnotherapy, be gentle with yourself. This is very important. As you would nurture a child, you must parent and nurture yourself. Positive coaching and rewards work much better than punishment. When you work to love and nurture yourself your mind and body respond with the desired changes. Respect your body when exercising. Start slow and build up gradually. Always follow your doctor’s advice. He or she knows the information relevant to your case. Having your doctor and your hypnotherapist coordinate your care brings the best results.
